Protection And Advocacy

Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS) is a program run by the Disability Law Center to help people who receive either SSI (Supplemental Security Income) and/or SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) and want to go back to work. The services at the Disability Law Center are free of charge.

The Disability Law Center can help an individual with disability to:
  • Negotiate the rehabilitation service system
  • Assert employment rights under the ADA
  • Advocate with Social Security Administration regading overpayment of disability benefits due to working
  • Find information on topics such as: Ticket to Work, Medicaid Work Incentive, Vocational Rehabilitation services.
